Who We Are
Data Center Solutions
A Strong Financial Foundation
Digital Realty Trust’s financial strength offers our customers a degree of security that our competitors
cannot match. We are a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and are listed on the New York
Stock Exchange.
We have an enterprise value in excess of $8 billion and have an average annual growth rate in our funds
from operations (FFO) of 21% since our inception. This robust financial status is further exemplified by
our status as the only developer with investment grade ratings from all three major
ratings agencies. What this
means to you is the following:
- An enduring partnership: Our financial strength and stability provide you the assurance that Digital Realty Trust will be your data center partner for your current data center needs and those in the future.
- We complete what we start: Unlike many of our less financially secure competitors, we complete our projects. Digital Realty Trust has never halted or abandoned a project in our history.
- We have a long-term strategy: We don’t buy a property with the intention of selling it after a year or two. In short, we don’t flip properties. A lease commenced with Digital Realty Trust concludes with Digital Realty Trust.
- A consistent price: Unlike competitors that are only able to offer terms that expose you to unforeseen charges like break/fix expenses, the rates that are specified in your Digital Realty Trust lease are the rates you pay. Period.
- More access to capital for your data center: Our investment credit ratings provide us access to paths for more capital. Our growth isn’t predicated on excessively risky propositions like mortgaging or selling a property in order to continue operations.
